SAN ANTONIO – (May 17, 2024) – Congratulations to Cadet 1st Lt. Jackelyn Hernandez-Rangel and Cadet Capt. Daniel Perdomo of G.W. Brackenridge High School who were awarded The American Legion JROTC Military Excellence Medal during the school’s JROTC Awards Ceremony. SAN ANTONIO – (May 14, 2024) – More than 200 high school students, graduating this year from Bexar County and surrounding area high schools, were honored during the 13th Annual “A Night in Your Honor” hosted by Our Community Salutes - San Antonio (OCS-SA) at Pedrotti’s Ranch in Helotes, Texas.  

The “Mighty” 20th District served as a Bronze Sponsor and participated in the Community Resource Fair talking with future service members and their parents about The American Legion. 

Post 828 member, Cmdr. Stacey O’Neal, commanding officer of Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) San Antonio, served as the keynote speaker.
